FAA Testing Center

PSI-CATSIn addition to providing world class flight instruction, Tennessee Flight Training is also partnered with PSI to provide our customers with the written FAA Airman Knowledge Testing Exams. These exams are given in a controlled, comfortable testing environment at our location at Nashville International Airport (801 Hangar Lane, Hangar #7, Nashville).
Our testing center goals are:

  • To administer the highest quality computer-based knowledge examinations within a quiet and conducive testing environment under strict security controls
  • To provide candidates with a conveniently located test site at Nashville International Airport
  • To communicate with clients and candidates in a personable way every time

The testing center provides examinations for the following:

  • AIRCRAFT DISPATCHER, AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT, & FLIGHT NAVIGATOR
  • AVIATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: AIRFRAME, GENERAL, & POWERPLANT
  • COMMERCIAL PILOT & MILITARY COMPETENCE
  • FLIGHT ENGINEER
  • INSPECTION AUTHORIZATION
  • INSTRUCTOR: FLIGHT, GROUND, & SPORT PILOT
  • INSTRUMENT RATING
  • PARACHUTE RIGGER
  • RECREATIONAL & PRIVATE PILOT
  • SPORT PILOT
  • UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS – PART 107

Exams are given on the following days:

  • Tuesday / Wednesday/ Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am to 12:00noon

The exam center is closed on the following days:

  • New Years Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the Day After Thanksgiving
  • December 23rd to January 4 including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day
