NASHVILLE FLIGHT TRAINING ANNOUNCES SUMMER YOUTH AVIATION CAMP
Nationally recognized flight school debuts “Nashville Pilot Camp” program for teens.
Nashville, Tenn – Nashville Flight Training announces Nashville Pilot Camp June 27 through July 1 for teens ages 13 to 18 with an interest in aviation. Attendees will receive FAA-certified flight instruction in a real airplane. Additionally, participants will receive tours of aviation maintenance facilities and other support facilities at the Nashville International Airport.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to train the next generation of pilots here in Nashville,” says Isaac Shrum, Nashville Flight Training’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “The national pilot shortage we are currently experiencing makes this the perfect time to learn to fly, especially for youth with future plans of becoming a professional pilot.”
Specially designed for ages 13 to 18, Nashville Pilot Camp offers the opportunity to find out what it really takes to learn to fly. During this one week summer camp, students will learn through hands-on participation as they gain valuable aviation experience. Participants also will learn disciplines of aviation through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), while meeting like-minded aviation enthusiasts their own age.
